Lead engineering across HejBit, a decentralized storage platform, and Lotus, a management platform serving Dharma centers. I work across distributed APIs, Laravel operations, billing, and the reliability of production systems while guiding an agile team.
- Architected HejBit, a scalable decentralized storage platform with a Laravel control plane and horizontally distributed NestJS gateways with built-in failover.
- Engineered a high-performance NestJS REST API supporting resumable uploads, client-side E2EE, and stateless JWT/JWE authentication, achieving sub-10ms response times.
- Built Laravel and Filament-based administration and Stripe billing systems covering users, subscriptions, payments, support, and API access management.
- Built storage integration services for S3-compatible clients, including automated provisioning, secure sharing, and gRPC-based feature flags.
- Led a 7-person agile team building Lotus, a Laravel platform for 1,000+ Dharma centers, covering bookings, memberships, OAuth2/OIDC SSO.
- Designed event-driven Laravel workflows using action patterns, Horizon queues, job chains, retries, and dedicated worker pools for provisioning, storage, notifications, and long-running jobs.
- Owned CI/CD and production reliability with automated testing, code reviews, Docker, observability, query optimization, WAF protection, and zero-downtime releases.
Principal Software Engineer

Led the modernization of InXpress, a large international shipping platform, alongside a parallel rewrite. My work spanned carrier integrations, distributed services, infrastructure, security, and mentoring a ten-person engineering team.
- Led a 10-person team and owned modernization of InXpress, a large PHP platform serving 14 countries and ~100k daily requests, during a parallel platform rewrite.
- Owned shipping, quoting, live-rate, and tracking workflows across PHP, Node.js, and Go microservices using AWS SQS and Lambda.
- Integrated carrier, insurance, payment, tracking, and e-commerce APIs using REST, GraphQL, XML, and webhooks.
- Improved application performance by approximately 40% through Redis caching, query/index optimization, CDN caching, and FrankenPHP/Caddy.
- Reduced AWS costs by approximately 70% through Docker consolidation, automated deployments, Terraform-managed infrastructure, and AWS ECS.
- Built reliable release pipelines with Jenkins, applying TDD practices and automated E2E/smoke testing, while hardening authentication and API access with 2FA and rate limiting.
